We follow a first principles approach to strategy, utlilising design thinking, innovation, user centricity and empirical data as a starting point, rather than an administratively heavy methodology. This means working on the basis of ‘starting with the end in mind’, asking some simple, but critical questions, starting with ‘why’:

Who will benefit?

How will you get there?

STEP 1 – EXPLORATION & EMPATHY

We explore with you some critical paths and assumptions that build a foundation for what your organisation is looking to achieve, and how learning activities may form part of that picture.

Crucially, we look at the humans in your business – what are their needs? How does this align (or not) with your business’ strategic objectives?

STEP 2 – DEFINE & IDEATE

STEP 3 – DEVELOP SUCCESS CRITERIA

So you’ve got the people and ideas, but measurement is critical, how will you know you’ve succeeded?

We build the strategy with you, helping you develop your success criteria so that the results of your efforts are truly felt across the business.

STEP 4 – EVALUTATE CAPABILITY & CAPACITY

This is the piece where we look at your organisation holistically, and this also includes those responsible for enabling learning and sanity checking critical assumptions. Can you really deliver on your goals, and what timelines are they realistically achievable? Do you have the resources? What will it take to get you there?

STEP 5 – IMPLEMENTATION

We’ll not leave you high and dry for the implementation period, we’ll support you throughout the journey in order to develop the right approaches, building your team’s confidence and capacity to deliver on what they need, when they need it. Sometimes this may mean getting the sleeves rolled up, hands dirty and helping out, sometimes it will just be some guidance and support, whatever your need.

STEP 5 – EVALUATE & ADJUST

Strategies and plans are not ‘one and done’ .

Once time has passed and the strategy is underway it’s important to re-evaluate where you are. We can help you identify these areas and develop a plan to change course if necessary.

STEP 6 – EMBED & SUSTAIN

This final step is the hardest! How to keep your strategy a living, breathing thing, not a document stored on a shelf somewhere gathering dust! We help you with embedding the behaviors on the ground so that the strategy moves from a document to a true way of working.
